On the 26th of October, Great Brak River hosted a remarkable event, Art in the Garden, dedicated to raising funds for CAWS4PAWS. This special day brought together art, gardening, and community spirit, all for a wonderful cause.
Highlighting the event was an auction featuring works by the late Frans Mulder, affectionately known as “The Wild Dog Man.” Mulder’s art, renowned for its striking depictions of African wildlife, attracted much interest and support. David Robbins, curator of Mulder’s collection, oversaw the auction and shared insights into the artist’s legacy and passion for wildlife.
Guests were also treated to an appearance by esteemed gardening expert Keith Kirsten, introduced by Barry Greyvenstein. Kirsten captivated the audience with his knowledge and love of gardening, offering valuable tips to attendees who share his passion for nature and outdoor beauty.
The event saw a good turnout, blessed by perfect weather. Organizers and attendees alike expressed heartfelt thanks to all who contributed, making Art in the Garden a memorable and successful gathering for CAWS4PAWS.
